USDA and Fresno State College Create Built-in Pest Administration Modules for Georgia – US Embassy in Georgia


For many years, the U.S. Authorities has carefully partnered with Georgia’s agricultural sector. At present, the U.S. Division of Agriculture (USDA), alongside with companions from Fresno State College and Farmers of the Future formally launched new Built-in Pest Administration (IPM) modules developed by and particularly for Georgian authorities companies, universities, and analysis establishments, and the personal sector. IPM is a pest management system used for defense of crop yields and high quality whereas minimizing threat to human and environmental well being. USDA will proceed our robust engagement and partnership with Georgia to strengthen Georgia’s Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary programs to reinforce entry to protected meals, enhance productiveness, and proceed selling Georgia’s financial and agricultural improvement.
